Reception Teacher – About the role/school
We are recruiting a Reception Teacher for a high-achieving primary school in Barnet from September. This Reception Teacher role is based in a well-resourced EYFS setting with a strong focus on early reading, phonics, and play-based learning.
The Reception Teacher will join a supportive EYFS team within a school known for strong leadership, clear structure, and excellent early years outcomes. This Reception Teacher role is ideal for an ECT or experienced Reception Teacher looking to work in a nurturing and ambitious environment.
As a Reception Teacher, you will be supported with planning, behaviour systems, and a well-established curriculum designed to ensure strong pupil progress.
Reception Teacher – Job Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging EYFS lessons as a Reception Teacher
- Support phonics, communication and early development as a Reception Teacher
- Track progress and use assessment effectively as a Reception Teacher
- Work closely with EYFS staff and parents as a Reception Teacher
Qualifications/Experience
- Qualified Teacher Status
- Experience as a Reception Teacher or within EYFS
- Strong understanding of early years learning as a Reception Teacher
- Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service
- Right to work in the UK
