About the role/school
We are looking for a passionate Qualified Nursery Practitioner to join a welcoming early years setting in Southwark. This Qualified Nursery Practitioner opportunity is based in a nurturing and inclusive environment for children aged 2–5, with a strong focus on communication, social skills, literacy, and creativity. As a Qualified Nursery Practitioner, you will be part of a setting that values strong partnerships with families and promotes children’s confidence and readiness for the next stage of learning. Job Responsibilities
As a Qualified Nursery Practitioner, you will:
- Support children’s development through engaging, play-based learning activities
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
- Monitor and record children’s progress
- Work closely with colleagues and parents to support each child’s needs
- Ensure safeguarding and welfare standards are consistently met
Qualifications/Experience
To be considered for this Qualified Nursery Practitioner role, you should have:
- A relevant early years qualification (Level 2 or above)
- Previous experience working as a Qualified Nursery Practitioner or in a similar role
- Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service
- Right to work in the UK
