About the role/school
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Qualified Nursery Practitioner to join a welcoming and well-established early years setting in Slough. Job Responsibilities
As a Qualified Nursery Practitioner, you will be responsible for:
- Delivering high-quality early years education through a play-based approach
- Supporting children’s independence, curiosity, and communication skills
- Acting as a key person for a group of children as a Qualified Nursery Practitioner
- Observing, assessing, and recording children’s progress in line with EYFS
- Supporting children with a range of individual needs and abilities
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to maintain an inclusive environment
- Building strong relationships with parents and carers
- Ensuring safeguarding, welfare, and wellbeing of all children
A successful Qualified Nursery Practitioner will contribute to maintaining the nursery’s strong reputation for inclusive and high-quality early years provision.
Qualifications/Experience
- Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (or above)
- Previous experience working in an early years setting as a Qualified Nursery Practitioner
- Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service
- Right to work in the UK
